Born in Manly, Murray spent much of his youth outdoors on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, either surfing, volunteering as a lifesaver, or working professionally as a lifeguard before transitioning into photography. He began his career as a commercial photographer 33 years ago and brings decades of insight and discipline to his work.
Murray believes that photography is not just about taking a good image, but about understanding its purpose. His approach is grounded in shooting with intention - whether for marketing, branding, or editorial use, ensuring that the visuals meet the client’s objectives from the outset. Based in Sydney, he continues to work with a wide range of clients, delivering consistent, professional results backed by experience.
