This past year, Raccoon partnered with Formula E to provide photography coverage across multiple race weekends in London, Tempelhof, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Our brief was to capture the atmosphere, hospitality spaces, fan village and VIP experiences at each event, creating a consistent library of imagery that reflected the energy of the championship across multiple international locations.

Formula E's brief went far beyond documenting race weekends. The objective was to build a consistent library of imagery that could be used across multiple international markets to promote the championship, its hospitality experiences and commercial partnerships.

Across London, Tempelhof, Shanghai and Tokyo, our photographers were tasked with capturing the full Formula E experience. This included the atmosphere of the fan village, premium hospitality spaces, VIP experiences, live entertainment, podium celebrations and the energy of packed grandstands, alongside strong branding opportunities throughout each venue. The focus was on creating authentic, people-led imagery that showcased the scale, excitement and personality of every event.

A key part of the brief was to document Formula E as more than just a motorsport series. The photography needed to reflect the championship's unique blend of racing, technology, sustainability and culture, highlighting fashion, music, lifestyle and the diverse audiences attending each event. The resulting image library allows Formula E to create marketing campaigns that resonate across different regions while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

Our photographers also documented Formula E's premium hospitality programme, creating imagery that showcased the exclusivity of the Emotion Club experience through natural guest interactions, luxury environments and views across the circuit. Alongside this, the team covered initiatives including FIA Girls on Track and Change. Accelerated. Live, capturing keynote speakers, audience engagement and programme activities to support Formula E's wider communications and community initiatives.
